Rose

Oooh. I know this isn't exactly the most intricate piece of art in your gallery, but I almost like it more because of that. There's not too much going on here, but at the same time - with the scraggly lines and shaded hues - there is enough going on for the piece to be fascinating. I feel like I could sit here and look at this for a very long time. I like the scratchy outline and the understated metaphor. I like the contrast of the solid background to the shaded flower. Very, very nice job.
